Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! I have to say, I feel just a little blasphemous for posting on Thanksgiving, and going full steam ahead about Christmas. Make sure you take a moment today to spend time with those you love and reflect on the things you’re thankful for. Then, tomorrow, use this list to not-so-casually drop hints for those loved ones to pick up some magical, Disney Christmas gifts!!
I’m one of those terrible people who is ready for Christmas on November 1. I know. I’m the reason snow comes early. I’m sorry!!! Feel free to shame me. I can take it! Putting that aside, though, if you’re as ready for Christmas as I am, you’ve already got your eye on some goodies for this holiday season. Of course, our favorite Disney merch sources have us covered with holiday gifties for everybody! Here are some of my favorites:
Part of the charm of Christmas is the lead-up to the most magical time of year. Advent calendars are a great way to spread out holiday cheer for a whole month! (Or to jam it into one day if you open every single window in a 3-minute span like I do…..oops.) Disney has a few different Tsum Tsum advent calendar options that can help you count down the days to whatever winter holiday you celebrate! Whether you prefer plush Tsum Tsums (available on shopdisney.com) or the different-sized plastic ones (available on amazon.com), you’re covered here. Disney also offers an Animator’s Collection, a couple of Disney socks, and a Lego Star Wars advent calendar on shopdisney.com!
Last year, I got the plastic Tsum Tsum advent calendar as a gift from a friend and loved that it had a mix of small, medium, and large size Tsum Tsums as well as all kinds of holiday-themed accessories from a toy train to clip-on reindeer antlers!
For something a little more sparkly, you’ve got to check out Pandora’s collection of Disney holiday charms! I love collecting new charms for my Pandora bracelet because each is tied to a special trip, event, or memory. These holiday charms are no different. Whether you choose to wear them only during the coldest months or keep them on display all year round, they’ll remind you of this wonderful season! I love this year’s new charm featuring Mickey and Minnie in a tiny sleigh because it’s printed with the year on the side to memorialize this year! With a crystal on the side and a pop of color on Mickey and Minnie’s Santa hats, this charm is too cute for words. Another favorite is this more traditional, round bead featuring the main mouse himself, with both red and green enamel colors.
Hi…I’m Kim and I’m addicted to Disney Christmas ornaments. I’ve honestly got no shame when it comes to this addiction. With the detail and craftsmanship that goes into these ornaments, they’re really like tiny pieces of art, and I get so excited when it’s time to unwrap them each year. Setting aside the bias of this addiction, I have to say that Disney’s ornament collection this year is ON POINT. This year, Disney has released a Legacy Sketchbook collection featuring 10 ornaments. Each is hung from brightly-colored satin ribbon and includes a charm indicating how old the movie or character related to the ornament is! You can find these and other Sketchbook ornaments here!
Disney also offers an annual “Glass Drop” ornament featuring some of our favorite characters in a beautiful teardrop-shaped glass ornament with the year printed on the back. Ben has gotten me these ornaments for the past two years and they’re absolutely stunning. This year’s ornament features Mickey and Minnie and their tails make a heart!! Absolutely precious.
Bags and Wallets
Welcome all bag ladies! Whether you’re looking for something holiday themed or just a way to “treat yo self,” bags and wallets are fantastic. For something small to hold the essentials, Disney offers this holiday-themed wristlet! It’s the perfect size to hold the must-haves without being too cumbersome.
If you’re looking for something to hold all of your odds and ends, maybe in the parks, this festive Minnie backpack from Loungefly might be more up your alley! I’ve seen these backpacks all over the parks and all over the ‘gram, and I recently caved, asking for one for Christmas. Santa? Can you hear me? They’re a great size and they have some structure to help keep your stuff from getting smushed!
For more of an everyday bag, Disney has partnered again with Dooney and Bourke to bring you this precious satchel (with a removable cross-body strap) themed after the Nutcracker and the Four Realms (Sidebar: I’ve heard AMAZING things about this movie and cannot wait to see it!) This print comes in all different styles and sizes, so make sure to check them all out!
Lastly, Disney has a slew of holiday prints for their reusable shopping bags. I finally got into the habit of remembering these when I go to the grocery store, so I use reusable bags all the time (love the trees!). Why not be a bit more festive during the holiday season? Save the planet and look super cheerful at the same time!
You had better bet that Disney has some super festive, fuzzy gear to bundle up in these winter months. I mean, it still gets kind of cold in Florida, right? I’m definitely all about sweaters and fuzzy socks up in New England. It already SNOWED last week. I mean, come on. One of my favorite pieces is this so-called “ugly” sweater. Maybe my sense of fashion is just off, but I think it’s adorable! Plus, I love that it’s green! So much of my closet is black, grey, or otherwise dark, so I think a pop of color is just what I need.
If that isn’t loud enough for you, you definitely need to check out this light up Star Wars sweater!! I’m not even that huge of a Star Wars fan (Don’t hate me! Star Wars is great!!!), but, I mean….it LIGHTS UP. I dare anybody to explain to me why I don’t need this sweater.
For a little more glam, Disney offers some great holiday dresses and for something more casual, you’ve got your pick of t-shirts or Christmas jammies! You can even do that cute thing where your whole family has matching pjs! I definitely did that with my family when I was little and I’m not even embarrassed by the pictures. We were adorable.
Honestly, I could go on and on. Left unattended, I’d buy waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than I should. So, shop responsibly and have some fun! Remember that if you snag anything off the Shop Parks app, in the parks, or at some Disney Springs locations you can use any Annual Passholder or DVC discounts! What’s on the top of your wishlist? Let me know in the comments!
