Out of all of Epcot’s festivals, Food & Wine is definitely my favorite. It ushers in the fall and winter seasons, along with all the festivities of the holidays. It starts when the weather is still hot and ends right when Florida decides it’s going to participate in the seasons change along with the rest of the United States. This year, I decided that I would hit the festival on opening day, with one thing in mind. Food. I was joined by Elizabeth from @happyohanamama, and our mission was a laid-back day, snacking and taking in all F&W 2018 had to offer!
We decided to take a note from the ZADD Crew Podcast’s $40/ $70 challenges and kept our budget Tight! Really tight. If you aren’t familiar with the ZADD Crew podcast’s $40 / $70 challenge episodes let me get you up to speed. Basically, you have a set amount of money to spend throughout the entire day in one park. They take the time to go through the menus and come up with a well thought out plan on how to get the most bang for your buck. Traditionally during these episodes, they do not include drinks. To save money, they suggest taking advantage of Disney’s endless supply of free water.
So, my our little challenge is strictly for the Food & Wine offerings. Although these items are made for mostly tasting, hints the portion size, can someone enjoy delicious snack size food for only $20?! You heard that right… let’s see what $20 can get you at Food & Wine 2018.
